House of Aalaya was born in Nagercoil out of a simple belief — that handloom weaves deserve to be sourced honestly and priced fairly. What started as a small effort to connect weavers directly with the women who wear their craft has grown into a curated home for sarees and salwar sets rooted in tradition.

Every piece we list — kora cotton, Chettinad cotton, semi silk, soft silk — is handpicked for its weave quality, and sourced directly to cut out the middlemen who inflate prices without adding value. That means genuine handloom character reaches you at a price that respects both the weaver and the wearer.
